This controlled strength sealant is formulated specifically for metal, tapered pipe thread fittings. Loctite® PST® 565™ thread sealant replaces most tapes and pipe dopes. Cures rapidly to withstand 10000 psi. Perfect as a replacement for pre-coated parts. Prevents galling and protects mated threaded areas from rust and corrosion.
